Norbar welcomes new Managing Director
The outgoing managing director, Andrew Lobo, was the first non-Brodey to run Norbar Torque Tools in over 75 years and his choice was a great one by Snap-on. Andy brought knowledge of the Snap-on systems combined with a sensitivity to the history of Norbar. He returns to a promotion in the US, but will remain in contact as a customer of Norbar in his new Snap-on role.
Incoming managing director John Reynertson has held a variety of roles in Sturtevant Richmont over the last 36 years, including President. Sturtevant Richmont is a US company that has designed and manufactured torque wrenches and torque control solutions since the 1920s. Sturtevant was also purchased by Snap-on recently and the ever closer relationship between the three companies will be further enhanced by his new role. John is a great engineer and is rightly proud of the Sturtevant Richmont product and history. He is looking forward to the new challenge of running a larger company in a different country, but he comes with a strong pedigree and the Norbar team welcome his arrival.
